Why Acupuncture?

If you are seeking relief from a chronic condition or an acute illness acupuncture can help. Acupuncture provides an effective treatment for a wide variety of conditions which treat the body as a whole system. Further, side effects are quite rare with acupuncture, and when side effects do occur they are typically mild.  The U.N. World Health Organization (WHO) has recognized acupuncture treatment as proven effective in treating nearly 30 different conditions with promising results shown in the treatment of over 60 more. The most common complaints for which Dr. Liu's patients seek treatment are pain (neck, back, and sciatic nerve), insomnia, emotional distress (depression, anxiety, and stress), infertility, digestive issues, and cancer therapy relief (side effects from chemotherapy and radiation), but she has also administered acupuncture treatments for a wide variety of conditions noted on our conditions treated page.
